I started Phil's Computer Services in 2025 to provide a service that puts the customer first. I have built up a leading reputation within my area for computer servicing & repairs and laptop servicing & repairs in Chepstow, Coleford, and more, working alongside homes and businesses.

I make sure every customer feels fully satisfied with the overall service they receive from me, and I work hard to ensure they are happy with the quality of service so they will recommend me to others and return to me in the future if needed.

Phil's Computer Services provides quality IT repair services, including virus removal, data recovery, and custom PC builds, to our valued customers.

I also cover the following areas: Bristol, Forest of Dean, Gwent, Monmouthshire, Newport and more!

My initial training and interest in computers began at school while completing an IT accreditation. Over 25 years ago, I started building my own PCs, which quickly led to family and friends asking me to fix their computers and laptops. This naturally evolved into offering computer servicing & repairs, laptop servicing & repairs, and custom PC builds for customers across Chepstow and Coleford.

As the years went by, I studied further, developing a broad technical knowledge in IT, including data recovery and virus removal services. Even today, with the ongoing technical advances, I continue to learn and improve my knowledge, as keeping up to date within the industry is vitally important.

Having recently done a brilliant job, sorting out a software issue on my wife’s computer, I contacted Phil after the power to my 3 main backup drives was incorrectly turned off. All of them became corrupted and unreadable, which was a major problem for me, as they were large drives, holding many professional photographic projects.

His initial response was very positive about retrieving the data, which he proceeded to do, one drive at a time, keeping me updated at regular intervals throughout. Each one taking approximately 22 hours or more to complete. After the final one mechanically failed during the process, he advised and ordered the best replacement and was able to copy all the recovered files onto it.

He rescued irreplaceable work, and I am extremely grateful to him for his expertise and positive attitude toward the problem, along with his very reasonable fees. It is so reassuring to know that he is providing such a highly professional service in the area.

Fantastic service from Phil.

He's just saved the day with my teenager's laptop which we had been previously told by someone else was fried beyond economical repair and the data on it could not be retrieved.

Phil got it working better than new, sent progress updates throughout, then returned it to us with all data intact. And all in less than 24 hours.
